The ERA Online Running Analysis is a complete, personalised movement breakdown designed to help runners improve technique, reduce injury risk and enhance running performance - from anywhere in the world.
We analyse your unique movement patterns through video submissions you record at home or at the track.
What You’ll Submit:
You’ll receive a step-by-step checklist to film and submit your movement footage. No fancy equipment required — just your phone and a tripod or helper.
1. Mobility Assessment
We evaluate your key movement foundations:
- Thomas Test – Hip flexor mobility
- Sitting IR/ER – Hip rotation range
- Single-Leg Balance (on foam) – Stability & proprioception
- Knee to Wall – Ankle dorsiflexion and symmetry
2. Jump & Landing Mechanics
We assess how your body handles impact and power without the need for force plates:
-Squat Jump – Pure concentric force
-Countermovement Jump – Stretch-shortening cycle efficiency
-Drop Jump (30cm) – Landing mechanics and stiffness modulation
3. Running Biomechanics
You’ll film yourself running at +2 to +4 km/h above your 10k pace from 3 key angles: side, rear, and front.
We break down:
-Posture & spinal alignment
-Cadence
-Foot strike pattern
-Arm swing efficiency
-Breathing pattern (if visible)
-Kinogram analysis of key gait phases:
- Toe Off
- Terminal Swing
- Stance
- Touch Down
(joint angles, timing, symmetry)
