The ERA 1:1 Running Analysis is a comprehensive face-to-face biomechanical assessment designed for runners, HYROX athletes, endurance athletes, and field sport athletes wanting to improve efficiency, reduce injury risk, and optimise performance.
Completed in person at Viking Athletics High Performance Centre in Bundall, Gold Coast, this session combines expert coaching, movement assessment, and detailed running analysis to give you actionable insight into how your body moves.
What’s Included
1:1 Coaching & Movement Assessment (60 Minutes)
Work directly with an ERA coach through a full movement and running assessment tailored to your goals, injury history, and training demands.
Mobility & Stability Screening
We assess the key physical qualities influencing your running mechanics, including:
- Hip mobility and control
- Ankle mobility and stiffness
- Single-leg balance and stability
- Pelvic and trunk control
- Foot mechanics and arch stability
These assessments help identify restrictions, asymmetries, and compensations contributing to inefficiency or injury risk.
Jump & Landing Mechanics
We analyse how your body produces and absorbs force through:
- Squat Jump
- Countermovement Jump
- Drop Jump
This provides insight into lower limb stiffness, reactive strength, force absorption, and elastic qualities important for running economy and speed.
Running Biomechanics Analysis
Using high-speed video from multiple angles, we break down your running technique in detail, including:
- Posture and trunk positioning
- Cadence and stride rhythm
- Foot strike and ground contact
- Arm swing mechanics
- Shin angles and force direction
- Hip stability and pelvic control
- Heel recovery and knee drive
We also assess key gait cycle positions including:
- Toe Off
- MVP
- Strike
- Touch Down
- Full Support
